Bursary Application

BURSARY APPLICATION PROGRAM

The Canadian Energy Workers Association is pleased to offer our Bursary Program to assist with the cost of post secondary education for our members’ children.

We invite permanent members with children in post-secondary school to apply for a one-time bursary in the amount of $1,500 for each eligible child.

This bursary is intended to be contributed towards the cost of tuition, supplies and/or other school fees. This program is funded by the dues paid by summer students.

Applications for the bursary are now CLOSED for the 2025/2026 academic year.

2025/2026 School Year Eligibility requirements:

Students must not have previously received the CEWA bursary

Students must be the children of permanent CEWA members as of October 1, 2025

Students must be enrolled in a full-time program for the 2025-26 school year leading to a degree, diploma, or certificate AND supply proof of enrollment.

Students must be 25 years old or under as of December 31, 2025
